Eleena Dress Pattern Tour

What a pleasure to join with delightful and highly skilled seamstresses to test the new Eleena dress pattern by Coffee + Thread.  I find that I am hungry for the energy found in collaborative sewing and it seems to spark me into gear (if only briefly). I am struggling budgeting time and especially energy to sit down at my machine, and it was a true joy to create dresses for my girls.  Thank you Olga!

I am highly impressed with the attention to detail and tireless revisions Olga went through to create this perfected dress pattern.  Be assured that every specification has been created with exactness.  The dress gives a clean classic 60’s vibe with a beautiful inverted pleat with 3 sleeve options and optional collar. The pattern will be on sale for $7 (regularly priced at $9) through March 7th at 11:59 PM EST.

I created this dress in a size 10 with 2 inches added length for Izzy and 4 inches added length for Scout (and hers could use another inch).  This was my first invisible zipper and the directions were so simple.  Shockingly simple!

I am desperate to be creating for my kids.  Gratefully my work allows/requires daily creativity, and it keeps me sufficiently fueled, but sadly not creating in a way that pushes me and and brings me such joy. Although I get less sleep and the house gets messier, all three Green Girls are happier when I am able to create for my family.

Olga, thank you again for allowing me to join in making these dresses.  You are a cheerleader extraordinaire!  I hope to see many more stunning patterns from you in the future!
